Much of Solent's work with casings and enclosures involves the art of forming. Metal can be cut, bent, rolled, extruded and swaged into a variety of different shapes.

Countless everyday objects are constructed by forming. Metal forming is really one of the fundamental shaping processes used in metalworking.

It is the precise, accurate results that Solent can achieve that will interest you the most.

Because we have a highly skilled workforce, we can give you a fast and bespoke turn-round for all your forming needs.

Come and see how we do it, a site visit is welcomed!

Specialised structures

One of our particular specialties is the production of small bespoke buildings. Shown above is a recent example - a harbour training station.

Solent Manufacturing produced the  radar station structure and all the consoles, equipment enclosures and metalwork for the radar electronics.
